I took a black and white photography class and learned how to do everything from taking good photos to film development to enlarging on paper. I had so much fun in the class! This is one of my hand developed black and white prints. It’s possible I may sell more prints of this image in the future, but the odds of me doing the print work myself in a darkroom aren’t that great, so pick this up while you can!
This is a photo of some buildings facing the lakefront in downtown Grand Haven, Michigan. Architecture photography has always interested me and it was fun to try it myself. Black and white makes everything so interesting.
I bumped the print during the enlarging process, and it caused a slight double exposure effect. I like it, but I don’t want you to think there’s something wrong with your vision!
This is a matted print. The mat is white (not a pure white) and is 3/4″ thick making the print ready for an 5″ x 7″ frame. The print itself is approximately 4.25″ x 6″.
