I took a black and white photography class and learned how to do everything from taking good photos to film development to enlarging on paper. I had so much fun in the class! This is one of my hand developed black and white prints. It’s possible I may sell more prints of this image in the future, but the odds of me doing the print work myself in a darkroom aren’t that great, so pick this up while you can!
Because I am intrigued by religious imagery, I had been wanting to do something with a shadow of a cross. I also had been studying Lee Friedlander and I wanted to emulate his self-portrait style in film as well as digital. I took this photo on Easter Sunday 2014 and I really love how it came out. May the pets it’s marking rest in peace.
This is a matted print. The mat is white (not a pure white) and is 1.75″ thick making the print ready for an 8″ x 10″ frame. The print itself is approximately 7.25″ x 5.5″.
**Please note: any frames in the photos above are strictly for presentation purposes. The Yay for J logo watermark will not appear on the front of your artwork. Yay for J has become Sleeping Pond Studio.
I will not be making any more reproductions of your photo, so when these sell out, they?re gone forever. See above for the remaining quantity.
Your print will be packaged in a clear protective bag and shipped in a rigid cardboard mailer.
