Yellow Painting (Hope) is taken from one of my acrylic on canvas paintings. It is the third in a colorful four-painting series called “Surviving Suicide” created after the loss of my brother. The series is an expression of finding light (no matter how small) within times of darkness.
This painting represents how the people left behind manage to put their lives back together and continue to live. Within the blue circles is a figure. It could be interpreted to be either the survivors being free of the guilt and grief or my brother being free of the pain he was suffering. The squares represent life and how it goes on, even after a tragic event.
Your print is approximately 4 1/4 inches by 6 inches and is printed on postcard stock. The white mat brings the print up to an outside dimension of 5 inches by 7 inches, ready for framing!
It is not UV protected, so keep it out of direct sunlight to prevent fading and discoloration.
Your framing and display options are virtually endless. Here are some of my favorites:
– Use a ready-made frame/mat from any big box retailer as an inexpensive alternative to custom framing.
– Purchase a custom mat to use with a larger frame. Small art with wide mats in big frames will give your new artwork a classy gallery feel.
– Don?t be afraid to crop or trim the print if you?d like to use a smaller frame/mat! It?s your print, make it work for you!
**Please note: any frames in the photos above are strictly for presentation purposes. The Yay for J logo watermark will not appear on the front of your artwork. Yay for J has become Sleeping Pond Studio.
I will not be making any more reproductions of your print, so when these sell out, they?re gone forever. See above for the remaining quantity.
Your print will be packaged in a clear protective bag and shipped in a rigid cardboard mailer.
